Family Launches CozyPhones Brand

I'm Paul, and along with my wife Jessica, we are the founders and owners of CozyPhones™. 

CozyPhones™ are a soft fleece headband alternative used for sleeping, exercising, travel, and leisure. They are embedded with thin adjustable speakers that rest on the outside of your ears and can be removed for easy washing. These are a great option when it comes to replacing heavy, bulky headphones or uncomfortable earbuds. 

The product first became available on Amazon back in May 2014. Since then, it has been improved and refined based on customer feedback we've received. 

Along with the improvements, we decided to hire a professional photographer to take all new product photos in lifestyle settings. She took a few shots of her young daughter using them with a tablet and that was our 'aha moment'. We could modify our sleeping headphones to create fun, comfortable headband headphones for kids.

My wife and I began looking into colors and themes that kids might enjoy. That's when our daughter, Helen, an aspiring artist, got involved. I asked her to draw up some designs of simple animal themed headbands. She began with a frog, a kitten, a puppy, and a panda and we decided to start with the frog.

From there, we worked with our manufacturer to sample materials, colors and sizes.  After a few tries, and some  friends and family testing, the order was placed. The children's line became available on Nov. 1, 2015. 

CozyPhones™ now offers four different characters for  youngercrowds to enjoy including the Whatif Monster,  a well-known storybook character created by Author Michelle Nelson-Schmidt, and we're very excited to see its success.
